Fiera di Santa Lucia in Trento
A separate fixture in the Christmas calendar is the Fiera di Santa Lucia, held on 12 and 13 December 2026 along Via Mazzini and Via Oss Mazzurana.
The fair is expected to have around 350 stalls, adding a much larger shopping route through central Trento over that weekend.
Historic sights near the market
The market fits neatly around a few of Trento’s underrated main landmarks.
Piazza Duomo has the Cathedral of San Vigilio, the Neptune Fountain and historic painted façades.
Via Belenzani runs through the centre and is lined with Renaissance-era palaces.
Castello del Buonconsiglio is also close to Piazza Mostra, making it a practical stop before or after time at the market.
